Journaling with Wild Women, Wild Voices: Finding your Authentic Wildness in the Geography of Your Life, led by Carla Pineda
A journaling class with Carla Pineda.
"We can't separate who we are from where we are. People are rooted in time and place, and so our psychic space is generously seasoned with memories of physical territories." - Anne Valley-Fox and Sam Keen
Come spend an afternoon traveling in some of the sacred spaces of your life. We will wander on the pages of our journals and visit where we were born, places we have lived, and places that help define who we are.
Bring your journals, favorite pen(s), and, if you wish, a picture(s) of these places.
This wild woman does not live in your head, but as a response, She comes through intuition. Her language is the language of the soul, of the body. She speaks through beauty, poetry, art, nature. She is mysterious, deeply connected to the Earth and the Universe. She is a risk taker who by nature is creative and who revels in her authenticity. She is fierce.
Carla has a background in counseling, is a certified spiritual director, and a workshop/retreat leader. She has used a journal personally for over 25 years as a tool for reflection and personal growth. An avid reader, Carla has also led book study groups for decades.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, noon-3pm
PLEASE NOTE: This class will meet at 716 HIGH STREET.
