Assemblage - Jeannette MacDougall
Assemblage is a sculptural technique of organizing or composing into a unified whole a group of unrelated and often fragmentary or discarded objects to create a 3-dimensional form of collage. The process allows for personal selection of found objects and interpretation. They often tell a narrative or representation. Some famous assemblage artists are Picasso, Joseph Cornell, Rauschenberg, & Jasper Johns.
Workshop includes all materials, however you are encouraged to bring your own small objects, imagery, or textiles that could be combined to personalize your assemblage.
