Sacred Gifts

A year ago, we asked a question to everyone who walked into Intermezzo Gallery. They wrote down their answer on scraps of paper and left them hanging for others to see.

What inspires you? The more I asked this question, the more surprised I grew at how simple each answer was. Things like children, kindness, and spring flowers. They were naming those little things they were grateful for. Then it hit me. Gratitude inspires. It's the very things we are grateful for that inspire our passions and dreams. Gratitude gives us the faith to pursue what we love. Gratitude is what makes the things of every day life sacred.
